James Staples is an undergraduate pursuing a finance degree at Florida Atlantic University. With a strong interest in real estate, James Staples is taking courses at the university in subjects like financial accounting and investments, laying a strong foundation for his career ambitions.

James Staples has gained skills through internships with Holiday Beach Homes and Builders First Source in June 2024. As a development intern, he got hands-on experience in property analysis and investor presentations.

He also worked as a sales intern at Builders First Source from May 2023 to August 2023. In this role, he supported top sales personnel and helped manage multiple construction projects.

Beyond academics and work, James Staples actively engages in real estate finance training, recently completing the Eastdil Secured Virtual Real Estate Finance Training Program. He’s also on track to earn his real estate sales license by early 2025. An active member of the Student Real Estate Society, he participates in networking events and community service. Outside his career and volunteer pursuits, Mr. Staples enjoys golf, fitness, and exploring new places.
